Our Approach

Custom subscription layer using Shopify Plus checkout extensibility and Stripe Billing API. Customer creates a pet profile (species, breed, weight). The system calculates optimal delivery interval using product serving-size metadata from NetSuite divided by daily consumption rate based on pet weight. A 15kg dog eating a 4kg bag with 200g daily serving needs a bag every 20 days - the system sets this automatically.

Celigo handles integration: Stripe billing events create NetSuite Sales Orders, inventory is reserved 48 hours ahead to prevent stockouts, and Klaviyo receives lifecycle events powering flows for upcoming delivery reminders (with easy skip/delay buttons), replenishment nudges for non-subscribed products, and cross-sell based on pet profile data. The skip/pause/cancel flow is frictionless - customers manage everything through their account page without contacting support.
